JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: SYSTEMS/NETWORK SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Department: Information Technology/Houston Lake Branch

Reports to: SVP/Systems Administrator/Executive Management

Supervises: Help Desk Platform

FLSA Status: Exempt

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field preferred. Years of acquired on-the-job training acceptable.
  • General understanding of networking protocols.
  • General understanding of computer system hardware principles and procedures.
  • Hardware/software installation and maintenance experience preferred.
  • Maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, and related network software and applications.
  • Ability to analyze and address needs of users.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software configuration problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, as well as related network software and applications.
  • Installs and maintains peripheral devices including printers, routers, phones, and other equipment.
  • Supervises and maintains protocols for help-desk platform.
  • Communicate with end users to understand and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime.
  • Maintains email and intranet services, adding and removing users and accounts.
  • Collaborates with SVP/Systems Administrator to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends and implements changes.
  • Documents and initiates corrections for system failures. Maintains open line of communications with SVP/Systems Administrator and Executive Management on such failures.
  • Monitors and analyzes network load including traffic and utilization trends.
  • Assists in the coordination and testing of the Bank’s Disaster Recovery Programs.
  • Assists in supporting the Bank’s local area network and wide area network hardware and software.
  • Diagnoses and Assists in the resolution of network configuration and implementation issues.
  • Determine, suggest, and plan layout for computers and peripheral equipment, including necessary changes to existing equipment and systems required to ensure efficient operation and effective use of allotted space.
  • Assists users with software, hardware, connectivity, and related issues; provides training on new or modified equipment.
  • Instrumental in assisting with designs, documentation, testing, creation, or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems.
  • Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborates with SVP/Systems Administrator in reviewing and analyzing hardware and software needs.
  • Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures or collaborating with the Information Security Officer.
  • Determines optimal hardware configurations by evaluating a variety of factors such as the number of branches serviced by data processing equipment, volume of transactions, and need for security and access restrictions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Participates in required annual BSA/AML training.
  • Complies with BSA/AML policies and procedures including identifying and reporting suspicious activity and other job specific duties related to BSA.

JOB POSTING

POSITION: TELLER

REPORTS TO: BRANCH MANAGER/FORT VALLEY BRANCH

SUPERVISES: NONE

FLSA STATUS: HOURLY NON-EXEMPT

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two + years of previous teller experience. Customer Service experience a plus.
  • Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program.
  • Good interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as adding machines and typewriters.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
  • Ability to exercise discretion and tactfully handle sensitive and confidential issues
  • Recognize and adhere to guidelines provided for time sensitive functions being performed
  • Recognize problems that may have customer or regulatory impact and escalate them to management
  • Knowledge in the institution’s research tools.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

·Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer records.

·Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.

·Admits customers to safe deposit boxes.

·Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.

·Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balance due. Enters payments into computer. Generates customer receipts.

·Places hold on accounts for uncollected funds.

·Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.

·Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares totaled amounts to computer generated proof sheet. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.

·Assists with night depository bags.

  • Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
  • Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station.
  • Checks night depository bags and records proper information on the financial institution’s forms.

·Assists CSR’s in answering telephone calls.

·Performs other duties as assigned.

·Participates in required annual BSA/AML training.

·Complies with BSA/AML policies and procedures including reporting suspicious activities.
