    SunMark Bank’s Apps are fast, free and available to all SunMark customers in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 

    Get up and running fast with these steps: 

    1. Open the respective store, search for and install the SunMark Bank App (note you should only download the SunMark Bank App from the authorized App store)

    2. Tap to open the SunMark Bank App 
    3. Enter your Username and Password (the same as your online banking credentials) 
    4. The First time you use the Mobile App you will be prompted for a Secure access code, select where you want to receive the code and submit it once you receive it 
    5. Make your preference to either register the device or not 
    6. That’s it! You now have your bank in the palm of your hand! 
  • Mobile Security Tips

    To help secure your mobile device we recommend the following: 

    • Use a Pin Lock or screen lock for your device, and stay away from easy pins like 123456 
    • Use Biometrics 
    • Do not store your login credentials as a contact on your phone – use a password wallet instead (e.g. LastPass, Dashline, Keeper, 1Password, etc.) 
    • Enable and know how to use features such as Find my Phone 
    • Should you lose your phone, report it to us and we can remove the device registration in our system 
    • Learn how to remotely wipe your device (Find my Phone app) 
    • Turn off additional mobile features such as Bluetooth and geolocation services when not needed 
    • Before downloading any app, read reviews about the app developer or company publishing the app and review the app permissions that will be allowed once the app is downloaded 
    • Install Mobile Malware and antivirus protection 
    • Avoid connecting to unknown wireless networks. These networks could be rogue access points that capture information passed between your device and a legitimate server. 
    • Reset or wipe devices before they are sold or traded 
    • Keep smart-phone software patches and upgrades up to date 
    • Avoid links or software downloads from unknown sources 
  • Mobile Remote Deposit

    To begin using Mobile Deposit:  

    • You must have a SunMark Bank Checking or Savings account 
    • You must be enrolled in Online Banking 
    • Download and install the SunMark Bank App 
    • Select Mobile Deposit from the menu 
    • Select Mobile Deposit Enrollment 
    • Read and accept the terms and conditions for Mobile Deposit 
    • Log out of the App and sign back in to start depositing checks 

     

    Depositing a Check:  

    Anyone can deposit checks with Mobile Deposit. Here's how: 

    • Select an account 
    • Enter the amount of your check 
    • Sign and Endorse the check with the appropriate personal or Business endorsement AND write "For Mobile Deposit Only at SMCB" under the signature line  
      *Remember to do this before taking a picture of the check. Skipping this step could cause a delay in fund availability. 
    • Take pictures of the front and back of your check using your mobile device 
    • Verify the information 
    • Tap Submit Deposit 
    • Confirm the deposit is listed as “Accepted” within the Mobile App and the funds have been deposited to your account before destroying the check. Other than your endorsement, do not write on your check until after the deposit has been posted to your account. We recommend that you retain your paper check for 60 days after the deposit. After this time, your paper check should be destroyed. 

     

    Tips for Depositing Checks: 

    When depositing checks via Mobile Deposit: 

    • Remember to sign and endorse the back of your check with “For Mobile Deposit Only at SMCB” 
    • Carefully enter the check amount to ensure it is correct 
    • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos 
    • Place the check on a dark background in a well-lit area 
    • Keep your phone flat above the check when taking your photos 
    • Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen 
    • Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check 
    • Make sure the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit with all four corners captured 
    • Make sure the MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable 

     

    Limits on Mobile Deposit:  

    Retail customers can deposit up to $3,000 in combined check value each business day, with a limit of 5 checks per business day. 

    Cut off time and availability: 

    Deposits are subject to verification and funds may not be available immediately. Once the deposit has been received, you will be able to view the pending transaction in the App. Deposits received by 3:00 p.m., E.S.T., on business days will post during overnight processing and are usually available in your account the next business day. Deposits received after 3:00 p.m., E.S.T., or on a non-business day (Saturday, Sunday or federal holiday) will be reviewed the following business day, posted during overnight processing and available within two business days.

    1. Click link in text or email
    2. Enter name and debit card details for immediate transfer or funds
    3. Alternative: Enter bank account details
    4. DONE
       

     

  • Text Banking

    SunMark offers text banking as a part of our mobile banking solution. This feature provides 

    you with the ability to conduct select transactions and instantly obtain up-to-date 

    information about your accounts.  

    Text banking can be used to quickly access: 

    • Balances 
    • History 
    • Transfers 

    To activate text banking:  

    • Sign in to Online Banking 
    • Navigate to Settings, then Text Enrollment 
    • Turn on Text Banking, enter your cell phone number, and check the box to agree to the Text Banking terms & conditions 
    • Select Save 
    • Follow the prompt to go to Account Preferences to set up your account nicknames for text banking 

    To Use Text Banking:
